SIMPLE & QUICK: Presumed 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden further outlines his Presidential agenda: Buy American electric, incite a second railroad revolution, and rebuild & retrofit infrastructure with union jobs

Stump speech season spurs the political conversation forward. Both POTUS candidates, the presumed Republican nominee and current President of the United States of America, Donald John Trump, and his opponent, the presumed Democratic nominee, Former Vice President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, are sparring for control of the media and cultural conversation.

A polar opposite of the Incumbent, Joe Biden is centering his economic message on the intersection of health, climate crises, and infrastructure.

Joe reminds Americans that the scientists say we have nine (9) years before damage to our climate is irreversible. The Statesman said, “On day one I will reverse the over 100 Trump EPA rollbacks, find a path back into the Paris Climate Change Accord and lockdown progress that no future president can roll back or undercut.”

Joe Biden says among multiple catalysts, if elected, his administration will use the power of the Government purse to purposefully propel a new American economy forward. Biden says the new economy will be founded on high-paying union job creation, American engineering innovation in energy efficiency & technology, and a cascading revolution to revitalize and rebuild American infrastructure and public transportation.

The former Veep is seizing the zeitgeist and channeling the best of Democratic greats. In a nod to J.F.K., Biden announced plans to expand and employ more Peace Corps and AmeriCorps members. Taking the lead of F.D.R., Biden invoked the Civilian Conservation Corps, or C.C.C., in explaining his idea to employ over one (1) million American workers as part of his “Civilian Climate Corps.” Biden’s C.C.C. is proposed to retrofit and rebuild four (4) million American buildings and structures.

Instantly intriguing is the candidate’s call for a second railroad revolution. The Biden blueprints include engaging Amtrak and private rail companies in revitalizing America’s railways, making more of them electric, and installing new light rails to make American metropolitans cleaner and more efficient.

Joe Biden wants to convert all government vehicles to all electric and incentivize American families to switch to electric by providing government backed rebates and incentives. The Presidential hopeful wants to put America back on the path to having a net of zero emissions by 2050.

Biden promises to install 500,000 charging stations nationwide to provide quick charge access. He says this initiative will bring another one (1) million automotive jobs. The Obama VP says that his plan “will be the greatest stirring of jobs in U.S. history.”

Furthering his commitment to embrace historically ignored American communities, Joe Biden promises that 40% of his “Build Back Better” plan for America will purposefully benefit underserved American neighborhoods. Biden promises that America will “be mindful of historical damages done on black, brown, and Native American communities. They bore the cost with none of the profit.”

The candidate implores, “These are not pie-in-the-sky dreams. . .Let’s not waste anymore time. Let’s get to work now!”
