SIMPLE & QUICK: MAGA grifters grab cash, Trump goons get geeked, and the Grand Opportunity Purloining goes down to Georgia

The 2020 General Election is over. The results will soon be certified, delegates of the Electoral College will impose the will of the People, and at 12-Noon, on 20-January, 2021, the United States of America will inaugurate its 46th President of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. This is true. In the meantime; however, for Trumpism via GOP, there is still a whole lot of money to make, an old hateful narrative to recapitulate, and control of the Senate is at stake!

After losing his re-election bid for the Presidency of the United States, ex-President Donald John Trump is appearing to refuse to accept factual reality and concede. Shocking. It is also shocking that the Trump Administration is making the transition of governmental power difficult and rife with as much misinformation, roadblocks, and pedantic booby-traps as possible.

Grifting continues to fuel Trumpist chicanery even in the face of the imminent vacancy of power. Donald Trump and his merry miscreants understood before the election that the results would bring them one of two options. They either win re-election and fully absorb the power and resources of American democracy for the foreseeable future, or they lose their re-election bid and use the cultistic outrage of their believers to line their legal coffers and produce their personal golden parachutes.

The “Donald J. Trump Defense of Victory Fund” or “Official Election Defense Fund” rolled out on the DJT email listserv on election night. The fine print of these PACs and “movements” tells the real tale: 50% will pay off campaign debts; 50% will pay for re-count lawsuits— so keeping Giuliani on a $20,000/day retainer. Regardless, before election night in America ended, familiar trolls reverberated through the Internet social sites and hardcore Trump voters grabbed their MAGA 2020 banners and took to the parking lots of government buildings where their own votes were being tabulated, chanting “Stop the Steal“.

Curiously, while their friends and neighbors worked diligently into the night to ensure Trump votes count and American democracy continues, Trump voters still spent the evening and following days threatening, screaming obscenities at, and physically harassing election workers. They demand, “Stop the count,” in Pennsylvania, and bellow, “FOX News sucks!” in Arizona.

Sycophantic Senator Lindsey Graham spends Senate sessions seducing sedition amid the post-election GOP stalling. G is parading across the country, attempting to casually coerce government officials into discrediting and discounting lawfully cast ballots in targeted minority districts. Two officials, Monica Palmer and William Hartmann, in Wayne County, Michigan; aka Detroit and its suburbs, aka where a majority black Michiganders reside, attempted to certify all votes except for the majority black districts.

Two hours of public discourse shaming Palmer and Hartmann for alleged racism, corruption, and anti-American activities persuaded the officials to accept a move to certify all of Wayne County, after all. However, a phone call that same evening to Palmer from President Donald J. Trump appears to have put the pressure back on. Donald’s money-making machine relies on the appearance of an Electoral College upset and so the anti-democractic duo have now submitted affidavits to “rescind” their votes to certify the results. To be continued . . . until a judge throws their claims out with the other junk lawsuits.

Ex-President Trump’s SAD sorry shitshow pre-paved the way for GOP mishegoss in the Peach State. Mega-millionare and Kemp-appointed Senator Kelly Loeffler, recently saved from a Senate ethics investigation, is already soliciting campaign donations inside the Senate for her run-off election bid— this is bad, Kelly. Also bad, antisemitic Twitter poster, Senator David Purdue, is still very much in a sketch position despite being unofficially “cleared” for stock, trade, and ethics violations. Senator Perdue’s latest ad admits he is being investigated— but David calls his opponent a liar for pointing this out. Exonerated!

Sens. Perdue and Loeffler are running on a “unity” ticket in contrast to “the far left socialist agenda.” The quickly changing voter needs and demographics in Georgia will test the echo of this tried and true GOP clarion call against the ever-expanding Fair Fight Action. Will Democrats stay on message and make this run-off about kicking-out corruption and providing healthcare, a higher minimum wage, and affordable housing? The stakes are high for Senate control and the votes in Georgia are now proven for both parties. Perhaps Lindsay Graham’s defense of sedition displays it best, “Democracy rests in the fate of the Senate.”
